Collin Ryan Doyen

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved son, Collin Ryan Doyen, who left this world on Saturday, November 16th, 2024, at the age of five months, in the arms of his devoted parents. Collin’s life, though brief, was filled with joy, love, and immeasurable strength. Collin is survived by his twin sister, Claire; older brother, Jack; and his parents, Steven and Shaina Doyen. He was deeply loved by his grandparents: Dan and Pam Doyen, Joe and Caprice Hook, and Joe and Vivian Esser. His family and friends will forever cherish the precious moments they shared with him. Though Collin’s time on earth was short, his impact was profound. His radiant smile and infectious laughter brightened the lives of everyone around him. Collin touched the hearts of all who cared for him at Norton Children’s Hospital, where he was lovingly supported by an extraordinary team of doctors, specialists, and nurses. His strength and resilience inspired all who had the privilege of being part of his journey. Collin was truly a gift from God, and while his absence leaves a void that will never be filled, his spirit will live on in the memories of those who loved him. His joy, his courage, and his beautiful smile will never be forgotten. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Norton Children’s Hospital Mito Foundation to help support the fabulous team of specialist at NCH, or Southeast Christian Church, home of believers who continue to support Collin and his family in ways they could never have imagined. A reception of family and friends for Collin will be held Saturday, November 23, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Southeast Christian Church, 1309 Charlestown New Albany Road, Jeffersonville, Indiana 47130, followed by a celebration of life at 12:00 PM.
