Billie Marcum Soliday

Billie Marcum Soliday, 77 years of age died Saturday, June 1, 2013 at Floyd Memorial Hospital in New Albany. She was born July 15, 1935 in Wisemantown, Kentucky to the late Virgil and Castira Smith. Billie was a member of American Legion Post #28 and Grace Lutheran Church, both in New Albany. She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Marcum. Survivors include her husband, Gene Soliday; children, Deborah Bastin (Rodney), Danny Marcum (Jackie), Carol Brown (Terry); grandchildren, Jason Bastin, Jeremy Bastin, Tonna Jones Soliday, Graham Marcum, and Joshua Marcum; 9 great grandchildren Visitation will be from 4:00 pm ~ 8:00 pm Tuesday at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Road, New Albany, Indiana. Her funeral service will be held 11:00 am Wednesday at the funeral home chapel with entombment to follow in Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park.
