Barry Young

Barry Young, 56, Muncie, passed away Monday evening, June 17, 2024, at his Hillcroft home. He was born Monday, October 2, 1967, in Muncie, the son of Gus Young and Linda Webster. Following his mother’s death, he was raised by his maternal grandmother. Barry come to Hillcroft in 2007. He loved all of the staff there, especially the lady staff. Barry loved music, food, playing the drums, and visiting all of his Hillcroft family. Survivors include all of his Hillcroft family, especially his two roommates, Jason and Robert. He was loved by all and all will miss him. Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, June 25, 2024, at Elm Ridge Funeral Home, 4600 West Kilgore Avenue, Muncie, Indiana 47304. Burial will follow in Elm Ridge Memorial Park. Family and friends may call from 1:00 p.m. until 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Elm Ridge Funeral Home.
