Alice J Salmon

Alice Joann Salmon, 82, passed away on Saturday, November 17, 2018, at Community Hospital in Anderson, Indiana following an extended illness. She was born on Thursday, January 23, 1936, in Muncie, Indiana, the daughter of Archie Virgil and Cora Fern (Moore) Clevenger. Alice retired from Ball State University in 2001 after twenty-six years of employment. She was also very artistic and loved painting and cooking. Alice loved Jesus and was a member of Full Gospel Temple in Muncie, Indiana. Above all, she loved her family dearly. Survivors include three sons, Jeff (wife, Beverly) Salmon, Jim Salmon, and Michael (wife, Tamara) Salmon, all of Muncie, Indiana; one daughter, Julie Deane, Indiana; eleven grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents; four brothers; and four sisters. Services will be held Saturday, November 24, 2018, at 12: 00 p.m. at Elm Ridge Funeral Home, 4600 West Kilgore Avenue, Muncie, Indiana 47304, with Rev. Denny Helton officiating.
