Albert Lacy Ingram, 82, Muncie, passed away Tuesday afternoon, July 16, 2024, at his home.
He was born Friday, August 1, 1941, in Farmers, Kentucky, the son of Glen and Lily Rose (Ramey) Ingram. Albert loved spending time with his family. He enjoyed playing shuffleboard, golfing, bowling, and fishing. Albert was a member of Teamsters Local #135, the Eagles Lodge, and the American Legion. He worked several years as a truck driver and retired from Marsh Supermarkets.
Survivors include his daughters, Penny (husband, Mitch) Kinder, and Connie Hardin; son, James Ingram; step son, Paul McCord; Step daughter, Connie (husband, Chris) Kalley; brothers, Roy (wife, Sharon) Ingram, and Lloyd (wife, Nora) Ingram; special friend and caretaker, Wanda Binion; several grandchildren; great grandchildren; great-great grandchildren; nieces; and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Glen and Lily Ingram; son, Albert Lacy Ingram Jr.; son-in-law, Steve Hardin; six brothers; and two sisters.
Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 24, 2024, at Elm Ridge Memorial Park with Pastor Jim Garrett officiating. Military Rites will be conducted by Veterans of Delaware County Honor Guard.
His arrangements have been entrusted to Elm Ridge Funeral Home.
