Stephen Brett Stancil

Stephen "Brett" Stancil, age 48, passed away surrounded by his family on Sunday, July 24,2022 after a long-fought battle. Brett was born in Virginia. He loved living in Seattle, WA. for many years, returning to Virginia only recently to be with his family. Brett was a Marine Vet who proudly served his country. He was a self taught guitar and drum player and loved to ride Motorcycles. He is survived by his mother, Danette McCracken (Bill); his father, Buz Stancil (Elaine); his sister, Susan Heindl (John) and nephew Bryce; dear friend from Seattle WA, Therese Hansen; Nephew Devin Stancil (Ryann); Great Nieces Rylee and Addisyn; step-siblings, Shannon Price (Morris and boys), Brian McCracken (Cassie and boys), Sherri Geiger (Luke and boys); uncle Walter Sackett, and cousins Jason & Lindsay Sackett. Our hearts will never be the same.
