Octave Beauvais

BEAUVAIS, Octave "Dick," 78, of Richmond, formerly of Marietta, N.Y., passed away July 15, 2010. He was born in Oka, Quebec, Canada, son of the late David and Rosalie Beauvais, and was also preceded in death by his first wife, Luella. He is survived by his wife, Jane M. Brewer-Beauvais; three stepsons, Michael Brewer of Richmond, Va., Jeffrey Brewer of Skaneateles Falls, N.Y., and Gregory Brewer of Tully, N.Y.; his brother, Louis Beauvais; two sisters, Helen Beauvais and Agnes McDonald, all of Oka, Quebec, Canada; also seven step grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was a former member of the Marietta Church of Christ, Marietta, N.Y.; and he was a member of St. Mark's United Methodist Church, Richmond, Va. A memorial celebration of his life will be held Saturday, July 17, at 2 p.m. at the Huguenot Chapel, Woody Funeral Home, 1020 Huguenot Rd. Interment will be private.
