Obituary of Margaret Lucille Lorinchack
Margaret Lorinchack went peacefully to God on December 11, 2023. Margaret was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She and her late husband, Joseph Lorinchack, were married for 64 years before his passing in 2019. She was born and raised outside of Masontown, Pennsylvania and was the daughter of the late John Bootz and Anna Bootz Zaremsky, and the step-daughter of the late John Zaremsky. Margaret is survived by her daughters, Karen Aylward (Arthur) and Lauren Brust (Randall), her siblings Elizabeth Bootz Merti, Dolores Zaremsky Bochenek, her six grandchildren, Kimberly Aylward, Jennifer Meharg (Jarret), Jessica Vellucci (Mathew) Joseph Brust (Erica), Christopher Aylward (Stephanie), Kathryn Tamhankar (Mangesh), and her twelve great-grandchildren Wyatt, Rhett, and Holt Harris, Carter Meharg, Savannah and Brooke Vellucci, Charles and Isabel Brust, Charlotte and Audrey Aylward, and Kiran and Jay Tamhankar. She was predeceased by her brother, John Bootz and his wife Nancy; and brothers-in-law Francis Merti and Edward Bochenek. Margaret and Joseph spent many years together in Doylestown and Coopersburg Pennsylvania before moving to Virginia in 2016. During her lifetime she contributed to the community as a Girl Scout Troop Leader, as a member of the League of Women Voters, and at her Church. She loved bowling and playing games with her family and friends. Visitation will take place Thursday, December 28, 2023 from 6 – 8 p.m. at Woody Funeral Home – Huguenot Chapel, 1020 Huguenot Road. Memorial service to be held on December 29, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Edward the Confessor Catholic Church, 2700 Dolfield Drive. The family would like to thank the staff of AT Home Care & Hospice of Richmond and the staff at The Crossroads of Bon Air for their caring support.
