Helen Marie Meekins

Helen Crawford Meekins of North Chesterfield, previously of Providence Forge, passed away peacefully on August 14, 2023. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jesse A. Meekins Sr. and her parents McNeil and Daisy Williams. She leaves to mourn a kind and loving son and his wife, Kevin and Molly Crawford, two beloved grandchildren, Sophia and Jacob Crawford, two wonderful brothers Robert (Betty) Williams and Charles Williams. Two best friends, Sharon Johnson and Sandra Crump Tatum. Two aunts, Lucille Jones and Arleene Brown. She leaves two step sons Jesse “Chucky” Meekins, Jr and Chester Meekins, three step daughters, Willnette Wiley, Yvonne Alston (Derrick) and Valerie Meekins, 9 step grandchildren, and 4 step great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, and a host of cousins, and friends. The family will receive friends 6:00-8:00 pm Friday, August 18th at Woody Funeral Home - Huguenot Chapel, 1020 Huguenot Road, Midlothian, VA 23113, where a memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 19th at 1:00 pm.
