Gerald F. Schneider

SCHNEIDER, Gerald Frederick "Jerry," 83, of Bon Air, went to be with the Lord April 12, 2015. He was born 83 years ago in a small town in Ohio. Jerry was a loving son, a devoted husband to Barbara, his wife of 57 years, the best daddy in the world to Greg Schneider (Linda), Susan Marie Shelton (Mike) and Mark Schneider (Lydia) and an amazing grampy to Justin Shelton, Alyssa Schneider and Jacob Schneider. He is survived by all of those family members, as well as his brother, Louie Schneider; and his sister, Carol. Jerry loved God, his family, his friends, helping others, singing in the choir, traveling and his long career as an electrical engineer. A service to celebrate Jerry's life will be held at St. Mark's United Methodist Church, 11551 Lucks Ln., Midlothian, Va. 23114, at 4 p.m. on Saturday, April 18.
