Obituary of Francis Marshall Jarrelle Jr.
Francis Marshall Jarrelle, Jr. unexpectedly passed away on 11-16-24 from a hepatic artery dissection at Bon Secours Memorial Regional Medical Center. He was proceeded in death by his father, Francis M. Jarrelle, Sr., his mother Jo Ann Moyer Jarrelle, his youngest brother, Robert S. Jarrelle, Sr. He is survived by his loving wife of 39 years, Michelle M. Jarrelle, children, Danielle Jarrelle of Chicago, Illinois, Francis M. Jarrelle, III of Richmond, Virginia and business partner, Nicole E. Bradford (Dalton), grandchildren Harbor and Fisher Bradford and brother Jeffery Jarrelle (Lorine) as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Francis was born in Key West, Florida, raised in Chesterfield County, Virginia and spent his final years in Varina, Virginia. Francis began his career as a young framer, mastering the craft of construction from the ground up. Through years of hard work, dedication and a passion for building, he founded a company specializing in custom homes, renovations and repairs. Together with his son, he has built a legacy of creating one-of-a-kind homes and renovations that reflect quality, craftsmanship and a commitment to excellence. Their collaboration has turned dreams into reality for countless families, blending tradition and innovation in every project. Francis had a lifelong passion for vehicles and motorsports that began with motor cross racing in his younger years. His love for building, riding and working on vehicles evolved into a 26 year journey of drag racing alongside his son. Together they spent weekends immersed in their shared passion, starting with drag racing, transitioning to circle track racing and ultimately returning to drag racing. Outside of racing, he was an avid animal lover with a special bond to his dogs, Buddy, Maggie, Savannah and Frankie, who were always by his side. Above all, he was a devoted family man. Being a grandfather brought him immense joy and he cherished the moments he spent with his family making countless memories that will last a lifetime. The family will receive friends for a Celebration of Life at 1pm at Woody’s Funeral Home, Huguenot Chapel, with a reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to Team Tommie Fund at Richmond Animal Care and Control.
