Vallie Everett Wilkinson Jr.

Vallie Everett Wilkinson, Jr. 92, of Henrico, VA, passed away Tuesday, April 2, 2024. He was the loving husband of Shirley P. Wilkinson; father of Vallie Everett Wilkinson, III, Vicki Ellen Wilkinson Diehr, Leslie Wayne Wilkinson, Stephen Paul Wilkinson; brother of Brenda Wilkinson Middleton, and her husband Douglas. He is preceded in death by his parents, Vallie Everett Wilkinson, Sr., Adelle Carlton Wilkinson, and daughter Sheryl Lyndell Wilkinson. Vallie served in the US Navy, retired as an electrician from the US Postal Service, and was a member of Mechanicsville Christian Center. He attended VMI (Virginia Military Institute) and was a member of the IBEW Local 666 (International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers). Relatives and friends are invited to Vallie’s Funeral Service at Woody Funeral Home- Atlee Chapel, 9271 Shady Grove Rd., Mechanicsville, VA on Friday, April 12 at Noon. The interment will be private.
