Eddie Thomas Bondurant, Jr., 74, of Martinsville (Snow Creek), died Tuesday, June 26, 2012 at his residence. He was born in Martinsville, January 14, 1938 to Eddie T. Bondurant, Sr. and Imogene Jamison Bondurant, both deceased. He was a farmer and was also supervisor for a dismantling company. He had served in the National Guard and was of the Methodist faith.
Survivors include a daughter, Deborah Adkins-Foley and husband, Stanley of Martinsville; a step-son, David Biggs of Arkansas; one sister, Sylvia Cleary and husband, Jim of Martinsville; one brother, Johnny Bondurant also of Martinsville; one grandson, Ridge Adkins; special niece, Beth Anspach and family, Peter, Ian and Molly; special nephew, Blake Cleary and family, Susan, Ryan, Matthew and Jennifer.
The funeral service will be held Thursday, June 28, 2012 at 2:00 pm at McKee-Stone Funeral Home in Martinsville with the Rev. Lee Ashley officiating. Interment will follow in the cemetery near Snow Creek Christian Church.
The family will receive friends Wednesday from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at McKee-Stone Funeral Home and other times at the Bondurant farm.
Memorial donations may be made to the Snow Creek Rescue Squad or the Snow Creek Fire Department, 7049 Snow Creek Road, Penhook, VA 24137.
