Sharon Lee Crouch, 73, of Madison Heights passed away peacefully Friday, February 12, 2016 at her residence. She is survived by her loving husband of 40 years, James “Danny” Crouch.
Born in Beards Fork, West Virginia, December 21, 1942, she was the daughter of the late William L. Adkins and Macil Rice Adkins. Sharon was a homemaker and enjoyed doll collecting and crocheting. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by four children, Tony Overstreet and his wife Sheila of Manassas, Greg Overstreet and his wife Pam of Suwanee, GA; Atena Price and her companion Rodney Bowling of Madison Heights and Jamie Crouch and his wife Tammy of Madison Heights; one sister, Mary Catherine James of Rose Pine, LA; one brother, Jim Adkins of Peking, Ind.; ten grandchildren, Dustin, Camille, Damion, Ariel, Dayton, Alexis, Brendan, Graham, Kobe and Blake and one great grandchild, Landon.
A service celebrating her life will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, February 16, 2016 at Whitten Monelison Chapel with the Rev. Jeffrey Campbell officiating. Interment will follow in Virginia Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, February 15, 2016 at the funeral home.
