Savannah Leanne Ramsey

Savannah Leanne Ramsey, 18, of Madison Heights, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 27, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Lynchburg on June 19, 2006, Savannah lived her entire life with significant physical and health challenges. Despite these hardships, she brought immeasurable joy and inspiration to those around her. Savannah was a beacon of gentleness and sweetness, her spirit shining brightly through her ever-present smile. She found happiness in the simplest of things—listening to music, hearing her favorite stories, and watching the mesmerizing play of lights. Her interactions, though limited, left a profound impact on everyone who had the privilege of knowing her. She is survived by her devoted parents, Steve and Rebecca Ramsey; her beloved sister, Hannah Elizabeth Ramsey; her paternal grandmother, Iris Ramsey; and her maternal grandmother, Diane Litchford. Though her time on Earth was brief, Savannah's life was a testament to the power of love, resilience, and the beauty of a pure, untroubled soul. Savannah's family takes comfort in knowing that she is now at peace, held in the loving embrace of her Lord. They are forever grateful for the time they shared with her and the lessons she taught them about love, patience, and the simple joys of life. A service celebrating Savannah’s life will be conducted at 4:00 p.m. Saturday, September 7, 2024 at Harvest Field Pentecostal Assembly with her father, Pastor Steve Ramsey and LeTrecia Mathis officiating.
