Nicholas Russell Corey

Nicholas Russell Corey, 72, of Madison Heights passed away on Wednesday, March 26, 2014 at his residence. He was the husband of Darlene Corey. Born on June 6, 1941 in Washington, DC he was the son of the late Joseph and Margaret Corey. Nicholas worked as cab driver and never met a stranger. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his granny, who raised him; a brother; a sister; a step-son; and the mother of his daughter, Holly Corey. In addition to his wife Darlene, he is survived by a daughter, Laura Corey; a son, Patrick Corey and wife Barbara; a granddaughter, Stephanie; four step-daughters; and a sister. A period of visitation will be held on Saturday, March 29, 2014 from 2-3 pm at Whitten Monelison Chapel.
