Glen Allen Moses

Glen Allen Moses, 74, of Lynchburg, passed away Sunday, January 20, 2013 at Avante @ Lynchburg. He was the husband of Margaret Steppe Moses for
fifty-three years.
Born July 11, 1938 in Campbell County, he was the son of the late Leonard Jett and Virginia Reynolds Moses and was also preceded in death by one son, Ronald Lee Moses and one daughter, Lucinda Moses. He was a retired carpenter with English Construction Company and a member of New Chapel Baptist Church.
In addition to his wife, Mr. Moses is survived by one son, Larry W. Moses of Lynchburg; one daughter, Kathleen M. Bogle and husband Paul of Madison Heights; two brothers, William R. Moses of Appomattox and John D. Moses and wife Gwen of Wingina; two sisters, Mary Madeline Mason of Gladys and Bernice M. Armstead of Lynchburg and one granddaughter, Erica Kate Evans.
A funeral service will be conducted at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, January 24, 2013 at New Chapel Baptist Church with Pastor Tim Dooley officiating. Interment will follow at the New Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery in Rustburg.
The family will receive friends from 6:30-8:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 23, 2013 at the funeral home.
