Daniel Williams Curry

Daniel Williams Curry, 69, of Bedford and formerly of Madison Heights, passed away on Sunday, August 28, 2016 at Carriage Hill. Born on July 12, 1947 in Lynchburg he was the son of the late Thomas Drummond Curry and Lois Williams Curry Huff. Daniel served our country in the United States Army during Vietnam. He was a retired roofer and enjoyed watching NASCAR races and spending time with his grandchildren. Daniel is survived by his daughter, Kathryn Maggi and husband Ryan; two grandchildren, Casey Maggi and Sarah Maggi; half-sister, Kathy Snead and husband Russell; and a host of aunts and uncles. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Carriage Hill for their care and compassion during Daniels stay. The family will receive friends from 6 to 7:30 pm on Tuesday, August 30, 2016 at Whitten Monelison Chapel. There will be no formal service at this time. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to the charity of your choice.
