Whitten Timberlake Chapel
Margaret Drinkard Dunivan, 89, of Rustburg, passed away Sunday, February 12, 2012 at her residence. She was the wife of the late Lindsay Angus Dunivan.
Born June 10, 1922 in Lynchburg, she was the daughter of the late Harry Dabney Drinkard and Sadie Smith Drinkard. She worked at the Norfolk Shipyard, then Cradock & Terry west end and then General Electric Corp. in the crystal department, and was a member of Bethesda Presbyterian Church.
In addition to her husband, she is also preceded in death by a brother, Robert Dabney Drinkard; and a sister, Arlene D. Sandifer.
She is survived by two daughters, Sylvia Daniel, Cynthia Gail Dunivan Roberts and her fiancé Willie Hardy all of Rustburg; grandchildren, Pamela D. Trent and husband Jack, Karen Doyle and fiancé Greg Coffee; Clifton W. Daniel, Jr. and wife, Pam, Troy Angus Jones and fiancé Shellie Clemons, Michael Lee Hoskins and his wife, Brandi; 10 great-grandchildren; and 10 great-great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held Thursday, February 16, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at Whitten Timberlake Chapel by Pastor Dwight Weaver, Jr. Interment will follow in Fort Hill Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends at Whitten Timberlake Chapel Wednesday, February 15, 2012 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. and other times at the residence of Sylvia Daniel.
