Mona Lou Brubaker

Mona Lou Brubaker, 89, of Kokomo, Indiana passed away peacefully on March 30, 2022. She was born on November 21, 1932 in Monon, IN the daughter of Arthur and Ruth Ferguson (Cochran). On September 22, 1957 she married Bobby Joe Brubaker who preceded her in death on December 2, 1978. Mona had a strong faith in the Lord. She was a member of the Brookside Free Methodist Church in Kokomo. Mona's greatest joy in life was her kids and grandkids. She enjoyed attending her grandkids and great grandkid's events. Mona also had a great love for the Chicago Cubs and one of her last trips was going to Wrigley Field. She spent many vacations with her daughters visiting Elvis at Graceland. Mona enjoyed listening to gospel music, crocheting and reading her bible daily. Surviving relatives include four children, Connie (Steve) Cook; Bill (Julie) Brubaker; Cindy (Jeff) Fawcett; Mark (Valerie) Brubaker all of Kokomo; grandchildren, Chad (Terri) Cook; Matt (Harmony) Cook; Michelle (Paul) Munoz; Amber (Chadwick) Appleton; Cory Brubaker; Shawna (Michael) Ray; Douglas Burkmire; Danielle (Aiden) Ivy; Clay Brubaker; Curtis (Jamie) Fawcett; Samantha Fawcett; Sean Woodcock; Justin Brubaker; Austin (Katherine) Brubaker; Tiffany Christmas; Garrett Cummings; Michael Martin; Matthew Ferguson; 31 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son Michael Ferguson; siblings Harold Ferguson, Max Ferguson and Eileen Duncan. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Tuesday, April 5, 2022 at Sunset Memory Garden Funeral Home 2097 West Alto Road Kokomo, Indiana 46902. Burial will follow at Sunset Memory Garden Cemetery.
