Mary “Granny” Bolin, 75, Kokomo, passed away on Sunday, September 15, 2013, at her home. She was born June 21, 1938, in Sikeston, Missouri, to Walter and Anna (Beatty) Bolin.
She retired from General Motors and was a member of local UAW 292 and FOP. She liked traveling and going to the Saturday morning breakfast club. She was an avid Colts fan and Coke collector and was a supporter of We Care. She enjoyed being with her family and cherished her grandchildren.
She is survived by son, Greg (Julie) Wohlford; daughters, Teressa King, Brenda (Stacy) Pratt, and Paula Richey; sister, Edna Barnette; grandchildren, Randy (Michelle) McCoy, Brandy (Joshua) Rose, Amanda (Travis) Ploughe, Christopher (Ashleigh) Pratt, Matthew (Amanda) Wohlford, Samantha (Zach) Rudolph, Jessica (Devin) Neveu, and Jason Richey; 16 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Arthur L. Wohlford; two brothers; four sisters; and a great-grandchild and special angel, Hunter LeeAnn McCoy.
A celebration of life will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday at First Baptist Church, 310 W. Taylor, Kokomo, IN 46901. The family will receive friends from 12 to 2 p.m. on Thursday at the church. Memorial contributions may be made to We Care or First Baptist Church in Mary’s name. Sunset Memory Garden Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.
