Kathy Irlyn Yates

Kathy Irlyn Yates, age 63, of Kokomo, Indiana passed away on Friday, November 15, 2024 at her residence. She was born in Lynwood, California on March 14, 1961 to the late George Douglas and Sonia (Friend) Patterson. Kathy married Brad Yates on September 22, 2001 in Greentown, Indiana, and he survives. Kathy worked as a secretary for many years and was also a homemaker. She loved traveling and cooking. Above all, she loved spending time with her daughter and grandchildren. Kathy is survived by her loving husband of 23 years, Brad Yates; daughter, Sunni Yates; grandchildren, Skarlette and Lyoshka; and sister, Cathy Kimberly. She is preceded in death by her parents; and her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Charles and Rebecca Yates.
