Obituary of Jerry Lee King
Jerry Lee King, 72, of Kokomo, Indiana passed away September 10, 2024. He was born February 11, 1952, in Jackson County, Kentucky, to Daniel Robert and Telitha Margaret Baldwin King. Born in the hills of Jackson County, Kentucky, his quick wit, generosity, patriotism, and love of God was shown through helping family, friends and even strangers that will never be forgotten. Choosing a trade at an early age by helping his older brothers, he went on to become a Journeyman Electrician. Starting his career of 50 plus years at D&M in Connersville, later working for Ford in Connersville, and was currently employed at Stellantis in Kokomo He enjoyed the great outdoors, traveling the country to visit family, and hunting trips with his sons. Jerry is survived by his children, Robert (Andrea) King of Brandon Manitoba, Canada; Leslie Bailey of Connersville, IN; Karen Riggins (the late Andy Riggins) of Six Mile, SC; Jonathan (Maggie) King of Kokomo, IN; grandchildren, Elizabeth (Stuart) Bruce; Victoria (Michael) Zacharias; Isabelle King (Paige Donald); Sophia King (Andrew Morrison); Alexandria King; Jacob (Emily) Bailey; Austin Bailey; Cameron Bailey; Marenda; Rylee; AJ; Saige and Larissa Riggins; great grandchildren, Callan; Beckham and Cameryn Bailey; brothers, Brad (Jolene) King of Florida; Thomas (Geraldine) King of Connersville, James (Shirley) King of Florida; sister, Mary (Dale) Przybyl of Wisconsin; several nieces and nephews and his beloved cat Spankie. Jerry was preceded in death by a brothers Donald King, infant Ray King, Bobby Joe King; sisters, Bertha Bennett, Joyce Hope , Judy Hall, Rinda Mays, Jeanette Collins, and his cat Andy. Visitation will be 12:00 - 4:00 PM Thursday, September 19, 2024 at Ellers Mortuary & Cremation Center. Funeral services 4:00 PM Thursday, September 19, 2024 at Ellers Mortuary & Cremation Center 3400 S. Webster Street Kokomo, Indiana 46902. Private burial will be at Seven Pines Cemetery in McKee, KY.
