Dena Kay Jarrett, 70, of Kokomo, Indiana passed away July 11, 2024. She was born on January 31,1954 in Kokomo, IN, the daughter of Eugene Richard and Phyllis Ann Dausch (Cardwell). On January 15, 1988, she married Glen Jarrett who survives.
Dena graduated from Taylor High School in 1972. She enjoyed crocheting blankets, reading novels, playing the lottery, and camping. Most of all, she loved spending time with family and friends, doting on babies and attending her grandchildren’s, niece’s and nephew’s games and activities. Dena worked at T-Way, Hills, and Mr. Fireworks.
Surviving relatives include her husband, Glen Jarrett of Kokomo, IN; two daughters, Heather Hicks (Steve) of Kokomo, IN; Sarah Goodman of Lafayette, IN; one son, Tommy Jarrett of Kokomo, IN; grandchildren, Dakota Hicks; Zaelin Goodman; Charlotte Goodman; Teaven Hicks; Zach Turnpaugh (Sarah); Shelby Smith; Chelsea Steiner, two great granddaughters, Cali Shuck; Olivia Hicks; sisters, Joyce Hannah (David); Cindy May; Lori Nichols (Rick); brother, Ronnie Dausch (Bobbie); brothers-in-law, Les Gibson; Jim Jarrett (Thelma); sister-in-law, Ginger Longfellow, and many nieces and nephews who many referred to her as Aunt Dede.
She was preceded in death by her parents, sister Debra Gibson, grandson Gavin Gordon, brothers-in-law, Bill May and TJ Longfellow.
Visitation will be 12:00 PM - 2:00 PM Wednesday, July 17, 2024 at Sunset Memory Garden Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Wednesday, July 17, 2024 at Sunset Memory Garden Funeral Home, 2097 West Alto Road Kokomo, Indiana 46902. Burial will follow at Sunset Memory Garden Cemetery Kokomo, Indiana.
