Charles Franklin Branch, 82, of Kokomo went to his heavenly home on July 1st, 2017 Charles was born on September 9th, 1934 to his parents Charles Leroy and Anna Gertrude Branch (Moore) in Kokomo, IN. Charles married the love of his life Anneita Francis on May 2, 1956 in Kokomo, IN. He is survived by his wife of sixty one year’s Anneita, son Dennis (Kim) Branch of Monticello, daughters Misty (Jeff) Atkinson of Kokomo and Debbie (John) Johnson of Noblesville. He is also survived by his thirty seven grandchildren and great grandchildren. Charles retired from Haynes International after a career spanning forty five years as a journeyman machinist. He served our country proudly in the United States Air Force for eight years. He enjoyed seeing the Chicago Cubs win the World Series, bowling in adult mixed and regular leagues, two time Haynes Euchar Champ with his son and brother in law. He was an avid motorcycle rider, quick witted, and a huge jokester. He loved yearly trips to Disney World with his family. His grandchildren were his world and he would do anything for them. Charles attended In His Image Church, was a member of the United Steel Workers, American Legion, Veteran of Foreign Wars, and the Eagles. He was preceded in death by his parents Charles and Gertrude, grandchild Brittni Ann Johnson, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. Memorial Contributions may be made to In His Image Church or a charity of your choice. Services will be held on July 7th, 2017 at 10:00am at Ellers Mortuary Webster with Pastor Brad Swain officiating. Friend may visit one hour prior to service and Thursday July 6th from 4-8pm.
