Robert Stephen Kowgitz

Robert Stephen Kowgitz 70, of Indianapolis, passed away on June 27, 2017. He was born April 10, 1947 in Beech Grove Indiana. He was a carpenter. He was a member of the Switzerland County History Society and very proud that his family was one of the first families to settle in Indiana. Steve is survived by his son Steve (Melissa) Kowgitz, step daughters Daphne Cole and Vicki Feko, grandchildren Lauren Kowgitz, Madalyn Frye, William Kowgitz, grandchildren Hazel Grace Frye. He is preceded in death by his wife Linda Kowgitz, parents Samuel Watkins and Rebecca Elaine Miller Kowgitz, and sister Jane Dankert. A Celebration of Steve’s life will be Saturday, July 1 at 4 pm at Family Funeral Care with visitation from 2 until service time.
