Oliver Joseph Leidolf

Oliver Joseph “OJ” Leidolf, 94, of Indianapolis, passed away on July 31, 2016. OJ was born the son of the late Clarence W. and Blanche E. “Christian” Leidolf. He worked for U.S. Department of Agriculture as an Inspector of fresh fruits and vegetables for 38 years, retiring in 1984. He was a member of St. Lawrence Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus and a WWII Army Infantry veteran. OJ is survived by his son: Van (Patti) Leidolf, brother: Arthur Leidolf, companion: Grace Currie, 2 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his wife: JoAnne “Rominski” Leidolf, two brothers: David and Harold Leidolf and a sister: Martha Marquette. Visitation will be Wednesday, August 3rd, from 4:00 – 8:00 in Feeney-Hornak Shadeland Mortuary. Mass of Christian Burial will be Thursday, August 4th, 10:00 am in St. Lawrence Catholic Church. Burial will follow in St. Mary-of-the-Knobs Cemetery in Floyds Knobs, IN. Contributions may be made in his name to St. Lawrence Catholic Church.
