Mary R. McCurdy

Mary R. McCurdy, 88, of Indianapolis, passed away April 25, 2015. She was born in Cincinnati, Ohio the daughter of the late George and Martha (Schwach) Sunderhaus. Mary was a teacher with St. Matthew Catholic School for 30 years, retiring in 1992. She was a member of St. Matthew Catholic Church, graduated from Marian College and received her Master’s Degree from St Mary-of –the Woods College. Mary is survived by her daughter: Maureen S. (Patrick) Haas, sons: Robert J. (Ann), David G., Kevin F. (Brenda), Joseph P. (Suzanne), Michael P. and Daniel B. (Lana) McCurdy, 14 grandchildren and 10 great granchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband: Robert B. McCurdy in August of 2005. Visitation will be Wednesday, April 29, from 3:00 – 7:00 p.m. at Feeney-Hornak Keystone Mortuary, 71st St. at Keystone. Funeral services will be held at 10:15 a.m. Thursday, April 30th, at the Mortuary with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. in St. Matthew Catholic Church. Burial will follow in Oaklawn Cemetery.
