Mary Jo Brown

Mary Jo Brown, 74, daughter of Maxine M. (Pahmeier) and James A. Brown, went home to be with our Lord, Sunday, February 27, 2022. Mary was born in Knox County, Indiana on June 21, 1947. Mary graduated from North Knox High School in 1965 but lived in the Indianapolis area for most of her adult life. She worked hard at several different positions throughout the city of Indianapolis including Anthem Blue Cross and most recently Ace Hardware. Mary was an avid animal lover and avid reader. Mary loved to work in her flower gardens, blue Hydrangeas were her favorite and she grew beautiful ones. Mary is survived by her good friend Russell Luby, two half sisters, nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews as well as great great nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, her sister and two half brothers. A Memorial service will be held on March 8, 2022, 5:00pm at Family Funeral Care - 5791 Rockville Rd in Indianapolis.
