Mary Beth Braitman
September 23, 1950 – November 3, 2024

Mary Beth Braitman (Haag) was born on September 23, 1950, to Virgil and Albina Haag (Divis), who precedes her in death.
Mary Beth married Robert Braitman on June 2, 1973.
Mary Beth attended Chartrand High School and received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business from Indiana University, Bloomington. She later attended the Indianapolis School of Law for her Law Degree. She worked at Lazarus Department Stores in Columbus Ohio and Indianapolis, as an auditor for the Internal Revenue Service, and lastly worked for and retired from Ice Miller as a Benefits Attorney and partner. Mary was a founding member of the National Association of Public Pension Attorneys
Mary Beth served on the Eiteljorg Museum Board of Directors from 2013 to 2022, and chairman of the Board from 2018-2020. She was made board member emeritus in 2022.
Mary Beth enjoyed traveling, History of England, historical preservation and collecting blown glass.
She is survived by her husband Robert Braitman, son Dr. David V. Braitman both of Indianapolis, siblings, Paul Haag (Carmel, Indiana), Margaret Watson (Zionsville, Indiana), and Veronica Boyle of Indianapolis.
A visitation for Mary will be held Friday, November 15, 2024, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Crown Hill Funeral Home, 700 W. 38th St., Indianapolis, IN 46208.
