Frank William Davis, 94, of Indianapolis, Indiana passed away on Saturday, August 26, 2023. Frank was born October 17, 1928 in Mansfield, Indiana the son of the late John Frank and Clara Ellen Davis.
Frank worked in sales of photographic equipment and supplies and photofinishing for The H. Lieber Company before opening Davis Camera and Repair in 1972 and retiring in 1992. He was a member of the Bridgeport Masonic Lodge #162, Murat Shrine Temple and a founding member of the Chapel Hill United Methodist Church.
Frank is survived by his children, Linda (Bob) Elsner, Greg (Natalie) Davis, and Judy (Don) Frick; grandchildren; Christopher (Tara) Elsner, Michael (Anne) Elsner, Heather (Blake) Chastain, Nicholas (Sarah) Davis, Jonathan (Tanya) Elsner, Timothy (Ashley) Davis, Kyle (Nicole) Frick, Joshua (Jordan) Frick and Emily (Aron) McGuire and 15 great grandchildren. Frank was preceded in death by his wife Roynell Davis.
A visitation for Frank will be held Friday, September 1, 2023 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Family Funeral Care-Rockville West, 5791 Rockville Rd, Indianapolis, Indiana 46224, followed by a funeral service at 1:00 PM. Frank will be laid to rest in West Ridge Park Cemetery, 9295 W 21st St, Indianapolis, Indiana 46234.
