Jimmy B. Dye

Jimmy B. Dye, 84 of Huntington passed away on October 18, 2021 at Majestic Care in Fort Wayne. He served his country in the United States Navy. Jimmy had worked for the Erie Lackawanna Railroad for 20 years, and later worked at Breyers/Sealtest for 20 years. Jimmy was born on August 14, 1937 in Huntington, the son of the late Gerald and Arlou (Harrel) Dye. He was united in marriage to Gloria Bil on February 24, 1973 in Roanoke. Gloria survives. Additional survivors include: three sons: Dean (Jennifer) Dye of Noblesville, IN, Michael (Jill) Dye of Indianapolis, IN, Richard Dye of Indianapolis, IN; two daughters: Kelly Dye of Indiana, Barbara Foster of Indianapolis, IN; eight grandchildren. He was preceded by two sisters: Gene Rice and Nancy Schurr. A gathering of family and friends will be held on Tuesday, October 26, 2021 from 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm at the Myers Funeral Home Huntington Chapel, 2901 Guilford Street, Huntington, Indiana.
