OBITUARY
Phillip Michael Christensen
August 28, 1983 – May 29, 2015

At his family home, on the evening of May 29, 2015, Phillip Michael Christensen passed into the arms of our Lord Jesus after a valiant struggle with cancer.
For the last three years, Phillip has resided at his “BLUE” Morrison House, a group home run by The Heart Havens organization, under the auspices of the United Methodist Church.
Phillip was employed by Versability Resources, where he had many friends and participated in Special Olympics events (Basketball, Track, and Soccer). Phillip also enjoyed his church activities, family events, and most of all, greeting his pastor with a hug and handshake.
Phillip was preceded in death by his grandfather, Robert M. Tilson. He is survived by his parents, Mike and Angela Christensen; his brother and sister, Nathan and Katelin Christensen, all of Hampton. He is also survived by his grandparents, Jewel Tilson of Hampton and Gordon and Geneva Christensen of Grand Rapids, MI. Phillip also leaves behind a host of much loved family members.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 to 11:00 am, Friday, June 5, 2015 at New Covenant Church. A celebration of Phillip’s life will be held at 11:00 am, Friday, June 5 at the church. Interment will follow at Parklawn Memorial Park.
