June Carol Aguilar
September 16, 1936 – November 7, 2012

June Carol Mishoe Aguilar, 76, of Littleton, N.C., passed away and went to be with our Heavenly Father, our Creator, and Lord on November 7, 2012.
She was born in Rocky Mount, NC on September 16, 1936. She was preceded in death by her mother, Virginia Parton and sister, Peggy Howe.
She is survived by her spouse, Roy Aguilar of Littleton, NC; sister, Joyce Rehers of Raleigh, NC; brothers, Phillip Parton and Bill Parton of Raleigh, NC; and five children, Gail Miller, Kathy Reynolds, and Donnie Mishoe of Gloucester, VA; David Mishoe of Texas and Kevin Mishoe of Williamsburg, VA; seven grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; and one great-great- grandchild.
June worked many years at the VA Hospital in Hampton and enjoyed talking to many patients that would come in. She was also a part of history in the sixties when she helped write one of the songs for Kenny and the Clover.
She will be missed a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, and friend.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8:00 pm, Saturday, November 10, 2012 at Parklawn-Wood Funeral Home. A celebration of June’s life will be held at 1:00 pm, Sunday, November 11, at the Parklawn Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel.
Memorial contributions may be made in June’s honor to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, P.O. Box 11047, Norfolk, VA 23517.
