Jeremiah Thomas Smith

Jeremiah Thomas Smith was only 64 when our Father in Heaven decided that it was his time to go on. Jeremiah married Garland Teen Barnes at the age of 18. He started his hard working career as an insulator at Newport News Shipyard and retired from the Norfolk Navy Yard in 1998. Jeremiah and Garland had 7 children together, Melissa Smith Insaidoo, Lacinda Smith, Jeremiah T. Smith Jr., Josh Smith, Felicia Smith, Jeron Smith, and Carolyn Smith as well as over 30 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. He will be missed and loved by us all.
