Clinton W. Jackson
May 26, 1951 – April 21, 2022

Clint W. Jackson Sr., affectionately known as ‘’Billy’’ by his loved ones, passed peacefully into eternity, while on Hospice care, in his daughters Newport News home on April 21, 2022.
Clint was born in Webb, Mississippi on May 26, 1951 to the late Oliver Jackson Sr. & Ela Mae Faine. . He had 10 siblings (Isabelle, Betty, Jacqueline, Oliver Jr., Milton, Anne, Steven, Roselyn, Darell, and Libby). Clint left Mississippi to reside in Detroit, Mi. At the age of 16 years old and graduated from Northern High School where he played Football and participated in Track and Field. Clint received several letters of interest from several Universities that were interested in his football ability but he chose to attend Business College. His dynamic personality and wit contributed to his successful career in sales.
He met his wife Gloria Jean Eley in February of 1972 and they were married on January 8, 1973. Clint and Gloria have 4 children (Jamika, Katina, Clinton Jr., and Marcus). Clint helped to provide love, stability and discipline for his children and always encouraged them to strive toward their highest potential. He will always be remembered in the hearts and mind of his family and friends.
Clint was diagnosed with hypertension and heart failure which ultimately led to his death. He is survived by his four children (Jamika, Katina, Clinton Jr. and Marcus) and his nine grandchildren (Anthony, Brianna, Deja, Rayvon, Pierce, Alex, Antwan, Ariah, Autumn.)
A celebration of life for Clinton will be held Saturday, April 30, 2022 at 12:00 PM at Parklawn-Wood Funeral Home, 2551 North Armistead Ave, Hampton, Virginia 23666.
