Rita Jo Richardson, 66, of Greensburg, Indiana passed away on July 17, 2024. She was born on July 4, 1958 in Greensburg, Indiana the daughter of Clyde and Norma Filler Morrow. She was a 1977 graduate of Greensburg High School. Rita worked at Gecom until she retired. She was a bright light when she entered a room and always had her arms open to give the best hugs. She will be missed so much by her family, but they are comforted knowing she is with her son, Travis and her parents.
Survivors include: daughter, Amanda Douglas; grandson, Ethan Douglas; granddaughter, Emma Douglas; brothers, Rex (Julita) Morrow and Anthony (Lisa) Morrow. She was preceded in death by her parents and son, Travis Richardson.
A funeral service will be on Monday, July 22, 2024 at 4:00 pm with a reception styled visitation to follow until 7:00 pm at the Gilliland-Howe Funeral Home. Memorial contributions can be made American Heart Association. Online condolences can be made to the family at www.gilliland-howe.com
