Larry T. Garrison

Larry T. Garrison, 61 of Greensburg, passed away on Wednesday, July 29, 2020 at his residence. Larry was born on February 15, 1959 in Rush County, the son of Charles and Beverly (Sweet) Garrison. Larry married Kasandra “Sandie” (Ward) Bryant on December 13, 1997 in Greensburg and she survives. Other survivors include his two sons - Keith Garrison and Mark Simpson of Rochester, IN; his daughter - Casey Garrison of Rochester, IN; his step-son - Shawn Bryant of Indianapolis; two step-daughters - Jessica (Jesse) Filler of Greensburg and Miranda (Joseph) Casarez of Greensburg; two brothers - Richard (Pat) Garrison and Brandon (Jennifer) Masters; three sisters - Jane Held, Teresa Phillips and Ellen Clark; and two grandchildren - Ava Nicole Casarez and Jacob Lee Filler. He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister - Karen Baker. Larry previously worked as a truck driver and at the Decatur County Highway Department for 43 years. He enjoyed TQ Midget Car Racing, fishing, going to casinos, and watching Colts Football, the Indiana Pacers and the Cincinnati Reds. Following the state guidelines for social distancing and facial coverings, a visitation for family and friends will be held at the Gilliland-Howe Funeral Home on Monday, August 3, 2020 from 11am – 12:30pm. A Graveside Funeral Service will begin at 1pm at South Park Cemetery, with Rev. Troy Caudill officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to Our Hospice or the Decatur County Animal Shelter.
