Warren Stephen Hendershot
April 16, 1943 – December 24, 2018

Warren Stephen (Steve) Hendershot, 75, of Brownstown, formerly of Greencastle passed away on Monday, December 24, 2018 surrounded by his family.
Born April 16, 1943 in Columbus, Indiana (Bartholomew County) to Roscoe and Bessie (Stephens) Hendershot.
He was a graduate of Columbus High School and attended Vincennes University.
He married the former Janet R. Earnshaw, October 13, 1962 and married the former Judy Kay Baxter on September 29, 2018.
Steve was involved with the newspaper industry for 41 years, with 23 of those at the Banner Graphic in Greencastle. He retired in 2008.
He was a member of Sherwood Christian Church.
Survivors include his wife, Judy Kay Hendershot, two sons, Greg (Darcy) Hendershot, Greencastle, Todd (Amy) Hendershot, Louisville, KY, daughter, Crystal (Tim) Manion, Greencastle, 7 grandchildren, Nicole, Michael, Austin, Abigail, Bailey, Regan, and Gus, 9 great grandchildren; and sister, Virginia Wood,Texas.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Janet and his parents.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, January 5, 2018 at the Sherwood Christian Church, 600 Kirkwood Drive, Greencastle, IN, Rev. Jim Staggers officiating. Entombment will follow at the Forest Hill Cemetery Pinelawn Mausoleum.
The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Friday, January 4, 2018 at the Hopkins-Rector Funeral Home, Greencastle.
Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Steve to the Sherwood Christian Church.
