Vera Lou Vansickle

Vera Lou Vansickle, 73, of Bainbridge passed away on Wednesday, October 14, 2020, at her residence.
Vera was born on August 17, 1947, the daughter of Orval Henry and Beatrice B. (Hedricks) Huser, and was a graduate of Arsenal Tech High School in Indianapolis.
Vera was the youngest of seven children, she was especially close with her four brothers and her father. She was an honest, hard working, and strong woman that was well respected by her friends and co-workers, while being employed at Lear Automotive for 16 years. Vera enjoyed attending her three grandchildren’s school and sporting events. Her main focus was her family and when given the chance to travel, she enjoyed going to the beach. She loved the simple things in life.
Survivors include her two sons, Todd Vansickle, (Tammie Witt), and Brian Vansickle, (wife-Gena); two brothers, Jerry Huser, (wife-Cindy) and Mike Huser; three sisters, Gail Carey, Nila Bryant, and Debbie; three grandchildren, Christina, Tyler, and Grace; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 38 years, Charles D. “Charlie” Vansickle; and four brothers, Charles Huser, Paul Huser, Leslie Huser and Roger Huser.
A visitation will be held from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 21, 2020 at Hopkins-Rector Funeral Home. A cremation will take place at a later date.
