Samantha Lynn Giles

Samantha Lynn Giles, 27, of Westfield passed away on Sunday, December 17, 2023, at her residence. Samantha was born in Greencastle on June 3, 1996, the daughter of Rusty Giles and Amanda (Morlan) Hubbard, and was a 2014 graduate of North Putnam High School. She attended Ivy Tech and was working on a double major in Cyber Security and Software Development. Samantha worked for Moser Business Analysts as an Intern, she was also a CNA with Behavior Health at Methodist Hospital. She enjoyed crafting and loved her four legged children, Benny, Boosie, and Atticus. Survivors include her wife, Lensy Schmidt; her parents, Rusty Giles, and Amanda Morlan and Joe Hubbard; two brothers, Blake and Tyler Giles; a sister, Haley Schmidt; her paternal grandparents, Rick Hassler and Theresa Portwood; her maternal grandparents David and Carolyn Miller three uncles, Casey Harris, Jonathan Hassler, and David Clay; and an aunt, Wendy Stevenson. She was preceded in death by her maternal grand-father, Richard Morlan. Services will be held 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 26, 2023, at Hopkins-Rector Funeral Home with Pastor Jennifer Evans officiating.
