Robert Marion Moore

Robert Marion Moore, 78 of Greencastle passed away December 25, 2017 at St. Francis Hospital in Indianapolis.
Robert was born in Greencastle on August 26, 1939, the son of Hubert and Mary Frances (Moore) Blumer, and was a graduate of Greencastle High School.
Mr. Moore worked as an Inspector with Allison in Indianapolis for 27 years. He was a member of Bainbridge Saddle Club and the NRA. Robert enjoyed the outdoors, and was a true nature lover. He was very active with his children and grandchildren as they grew up.
Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Grace Moore, Greencastle; four children, Frank Moore, (Kim), San Bernardino, California, Jennifer Eller, Greencastle, Robert Moore, (Angela), Greencastle, Mary Anne Cash, (Joe), Fillmore, four siblings, John Blumer, (Lorraine), Huntsville, Alabama, Sally Mayall, (Kevin), Greencastle, John Carson, (Carolyn), Layton, Utah, Sally Granberry, (Seth), Mississippi; eleven grandchildren, Sarah New, Justin Bumgardner, Logan Pell, (Brittany), Trey Moore, (Megan), Kiersten Moore, Emma Moore, J.D. Cash, Nathanael Moore, Cody Harbaugh, (Kayla), Shaylynn Parrish, (Guy), and Madison Duncan, (Codi); eight great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
Services will be held 1:00 p.m. Saturday, December 30, 2017, at New Life Baptist Church, 51 Ridgeway St, Greencastle, IN 46135, with Pastor Scott Kallem officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friday, December 29, 2017, at the Church, or one hour prior to time of service Saturday.
