Michael Harrison Boose

Michael Harrison Boose, age 57, of Fremont, Indiana passed away on Friday, July 19, 2024. Michael was born on June 1, 1967 in Fort Wayne, Indiana to Walter Earl and Sally Ann (Bartlett) Boose. He is a graduate of Concordia Lutheran High School. Michael later received his LPN degree and worked as a nurse for many years. His career started with providing medical care to babies being life flighted via helicopters to Riley Hospital. He later settled into a long career at Rise Incorporated as the Nurse on staff. After many years of working with clients during the day. He transitioned to helping in their home life through working at Community Living. Outside of work, Michael enjoyed hunting, fishing, and all things outdoors. He enjoyed country life and his pond outside of Fremont. As well as his big trips to Manitoba, Canada. He will be remembered as a wonderful cook and for the many celebrations he catered. Michael married Paula Knotek on August 22, 1992 in Angola, Indiana. Survivors include his mother, Sally Boose of Fort Wayne, Indiana, wife, Paula Boose of Fremont, Indiana, son, Robert Boose of Indianapolis, Indiana, siblings, Randy (Ruth) Jones of Warsaw, Indiana, Edward Jones of Fort Wayne, Indiana, Karen Harkenrider of Fort Wayne, Indiana, and Jeffrey Boose of Fort Wayne, Indiana, and mother and father-in-law, Louise and George Knotek of Fremont, Indiana, sisters-in-law, Georgia Knotek of Indianapolis, Indiana, and Jacqueline (Ron) Schreiber of Cabot, Arkansas, and a brother-in-law, Robert Knuckles of Florida. He was preceded in death by his father, Walter Boose, and a sister, Mindy Knuckles. Visitation will be held from 4 pm until 6 pm Friday, July 26, 2024 at Beams Funeral Home, Fremont, Indiana.
