Karen L. Kline

Karen I. Kline, 67, of Orland, died April 20, 2012, at Millers Merry Manor in LaGrange. She was born April 26, 1944 in Angola, Indiana to Homer H. and Nellie J. (Lahrman) Sutton. They preceded her in death. She married Jeffery Kline December 4, 1983, and he survives. Karen was employed for about 20 years as a baker and cook at the Prairie Heights Elementary -Middle School cafeteria. At the age of 1, she moved to Orland with her family where she grew up and graduated from Orland High School. She was a member of Orland United Methodist Church. She loved and took pride in her home and her flowers, and her family. She was a rather quiet person, but she always got along with everyone she met. Survivors include her husband, Jeffery Kline of Angola, son: Brent and wife, Shelley Sutton of Orland, three step-children: Vicky Kline of Texas, Chris Kline of Las Veagas, NV, and Beth Bebler of Long Beach, MS; grandchildren: Lance and wife Jessica Brodock, Trenton Sutton, Brooke Sutton, Heather Sutton, several step-grandchildren, two great-grandchildren: Bishop Sutton and Max Brodock; two sisters: Mary Schaefer of Orland, Susie Galloway of Mishawaka, two brothers: Charles Sutton and (Nina Fast) of Orland, David and wife Anona Sutton of Sturgis, Mich., two sisters-In-Law: Bernadette Sutton of Orland and Lulubelle Sutton of Orland and many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded In death by her parents, two sisters: Ruth Hale, Norma Peet, two brothers: Richard Sutton, Homer Sutton Jr., two nieces and a granddaughter. Visitation will be 5-8 p.m., Monday April 23, 2012, at Beams Funeral Home, Fremont. Additional visitation will be from 10-11 a.m., Tuesday, April 24, 2012, at Orland United Methodist Church. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 24, 2012, at Orland United Methodist Church with the Rev. Duane Stidham officiating. Burial will be in the Greenlawn Cemetery in Orland. Memorials may be made to Orland United Methodist Church in Orland or Orland Fire and Rescue.
