Sheila Laverne Gorham

Sheila Gorham passed away peacefully on August 27, 2024 at Mary Washington Hospital after a short illness. Married to Howard L. Gorham Jr for 59 years, Sheila was the mother of two sons, Michael Wayne Gorham and Jeffery David Gorham and was preceded in death by an infant son, Howard L. Gorham III, brothers, Warren, Curtis, Glenn and Keith. Sheila loved her family, friends, and her dog, Duke. She enjoyed binge watching TV shows, getting pedicures with her granddaughter, Carly, and online shopping. She retired from NASA Headquarters in Washington, DC. She is survived by the love of her life, Howard Gorham, her two sons, Mike and Jeff and their wives, Sherrie and Ladona, granddaughter Carly Gorham, sister Sharron McCauley and many nieces and nephews. In memory of Sheila, the family requests that everyone remember the good times to keep her memory alive.
