Connie Louise Darnell

Connie Louise Darnell, 63 of Remington passed away at Spotsylvania Regional Medical Center on Tuesday, June 18, 2024. She was born in Morgantown, West Virginia on August 25, 1960 to her late parents, Catherine Nichols (Remington Va ) and Ollie Crites ( Morgantown W, Va). Connie leaves behind three daughters, Rebecca A. Lopez and spouse Salvador, Christina L Merritt, and Jennifer M. Wright, and spouse, Jeffrey Elam; and son, Jimmy Lee Wright Jr.; sister, Patti Corsaro~Byrd; brother, Terry Wayne Owens; as well as her estranged husband and lifelong friend Bert Darnell. Connie adored and is also survived by her 16 grandchildren, and a multitude of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brother, David Lee Owens; sister, Karen Sue Heflin; as well as her granddaughter, Amirah Nicholson. A celebration of life will be held Saturday, July 6, 2024 at Mullins and Thompson Funeral Service, Fredericksburg Chapel at 1:00 pm, with family receiving friends an hour prior to the service.
