Tway Maung, 80, prepared to meet his almighty God and went home to Jesus on May 1, 2020. He was born to Pa Ka and Noe Noe on April 30, 1940 in Tavoy, Burma. In 1960, he met Kloh Htoo, who would later become his wife and lifelong partner and went on to have eight children. Tway assured himself to serve the lord and went on to study the bible in 2001. He graduated from MBBS ministries school in Thailand in 2005. In 2006, his family moved to the United States and settled in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Tway was a pioneer and one of the founders of Htee Moo Klo Karen Baptist Church in Fort Wayne, Indiana. He held various volunteer roles as senior pastor and choir leader at his church in Fort Wayne. In addition to being a dedicated and loving father, Tway also loved singing hymn songs and staying active. Some of his favorite hymn songs were “What Can Wash Away My Sin? Nothing but the Blood”, “What a Friend We Have in Jesus”, and “O Thou My Soul, Forget No More”. Throughout his entire life, he held an unwavering faith in God, which he shared with those who surrounded him. A funeral service will be held at 10:30am on Friday, May 8, 2020 at the D.O. McComb and Sons Funeral home 6301 Fairfield Ave. Fort Wayne, Indiana 46807 with visitation one hour prior. Condolences can be left online at www.mccombandsons.com.
