Rosemary Leis

Rosemary Leis, 88, passed away Sunday, January 29, 2017 in Fort Wayne. Born in Dupont, OH, Rosemary attended North Side High School. She enjoyed caring for her family as a homemaker. Rosemary was a member of Covenant Christian Center, and always enjoyed bowling with her friends. Surviving are her children, Roger (Georgia) Leis of Hamilton, IN, Terry (Linda) Leis of Fort Wayne, Gary (Annette) Leis of Laotto, IN, and Cheryl (Rodney) Cone of Fort Wayne; 10 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; brother, Robert McMonigal of Port Charlotte, FL; and sister, Patty Tackett of Ashland, KY. Rosemary was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Leis; and her parents, Robert and Mary McMonigal. Service is 1:00 pm, Wednesday, February 1, 2017 at D.O. McComb & Sons Lakeside Park Funeral Home, 1140 Lake Ave with calling 2 hours calling beginning at 11:00 am. Entombment in Greenlawn Memorial Park. Memorials may be made to Visiting Nurse.
