Richard W. Davis

Richard W. Davis, 87, of Ft Wayne, passed away Monday, February 28, 2011 at Bethlehem Woods. He was born February 16, 1924 in Conneaut, OH and was a WWII Army Veteran. He was awarded the Purple Heart, Bronze Star and Silver Star. He was a mechanical engineer and worked in sales for Leeds and Northrop Company. He is survived by two sons, John C. Davis, of Carmel, IN and William (Mary) Davis, of Michigan City, IN; daughter, Peggy (John) Klein, of Ft Wayne; sixteen grandchildren, Heidi (Peter) Hurd, Krista Davis, Angela (Chad) Schwartzkopf, Beth (Michael) Pearlman, Lindsay (Ben) Gielda, Diana Davis, Dave Klein, Anne (John) Schott, Sarah (Tim) Weber, John Klein, Joseph Klein, Paul Klein, Matthew Klein, James Klein, Thomas Klein and Robert Klein and two great grandchildren. Memorial Service is 11:00am Friday, March 4, 2011 at Klaehn, Fahl and Melton, Wayne St Chapel, 420 W. Wayne St. with calling 1 hr prior. Fr. Daniel R. Leeuw officiating.
