Ralph E Thomas

Ralph quietly transcended his earthly bonds at home on March 9, 2021. He was born in Waynedale but resided in Fort Wayne most of his life. Ralph retired from International Harvester after 32 years of service. He proudly served our country in the Korean War and was stationed in Germany as a mechanic. Ralph loved country music, coin collecting and his 1991 Cadillac Broughm. He also proudly served the Red Cross by donating many "gallons" of blood over the course of his lifetime. Ralph was preceded in death by his wife Edwina. He has four step children, many step grandchildren ,great grandchildren and 2 great great-grands (with another on the way). Ralph will be remembered fondly by his friends and many caregivers. The family would like to thank Parkview Home and Hospice for their excellent care. Ralph requested that no formal service be held, however a small memorial service will be held during his entombment at Covington Memorial Gardens Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family requests that Memorial Contributions be made to the VA of Northeastern Indiana or Cancer Services of Northeastern Indiana.
